Southland Transit also provides special needs transportation to persons with disabilities that may not be able to utilize either Fixed Route, ADA Paratransit, or Dial-a-Ride Services due to the nature of their disabilities

GRANT APPLICATIONS AND OTHER FUNDING STREAMS

Southland Transit is experienced in preparing applications for Federal, State, and local transportation grants. We assist our clients with researching available options to increase the efficiency of their operation. We can also assist with or write the entire application. We can also develop and implement Medi-Cal Cost Recovery programs, which provide significant funding for transit agencies providing paratransit services.

Performance Audits

Southland Transit is subject to regulatory audits and client audits, and we avail our records and our operation to auditors as requested. We value transparency and accountability. As such, we also perform internal audits to confirm our operation is meeting contractual obligations and other requirements.
